A Matchbox to Remember
One matchbox, five lives.
Every matchbox in the film began as a real photograph. Practical SLR capture on a white cyc — product, light, hand, match — the foundation under everything else. From there, AI built the worlds: dinner tables, film sets, the cascade of designs, the brand reveal. The product stayed real. The context was generated.
The directorial idea was simple: the box is the constant, the world transforms around it. Each frame is the same product placed in a new context — dinner with Callie, a Die My Love film prop, the range cascading, the brand resolving. The matchbox doesn't move. The film does.
A product film built end-to-end as a hybrid production. Practical photography shot in-studio, storyboarded on iPad, rendered through Veo3 and Kling, finished in Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Featured prop work for Die My Love (A24, 2026), produced under license through Chandler Studio.
